Our client a Frayte Management Company required asystem for their customers to manage the consignments from origin airport to destination airport. Client’s customer are in international export business and our client wanted to build a system that can manage the consignment export process from the origin airport to destination airport with all the required documents.

Client was also looking for the tracking of the consignment from origin to destination.

Solution

We provided web-based solution for this where Admin user can setup customer and staff users. Customer or staff user on behalf of the customer can book the consignments. There is also address book functionalityto manage each unique addresses per customer. System generates standard MAWB and HAWB documents andother standard required documents. Pre-Alert staff members communicate with origin and destination agents for their specific documents.

Functionality

• - Manage Customer: Consignments are always created for the customer. Either it can be created by a staff member or by the customer himself. When admin definesa customer into the system, it is required to assign staff member for that particular customer.
• - Manage Staff: In the system admin first need to define the staff members so while creating a customer, these staff can be assigned to them.
• - Quick Booking: To book the consignment, staff/customer fills up thebooking. After general information, user fills up consignment details. User either enter carton details one by one or can upload excel to bulk upload the carton details. So bulk upload is one of the important feature user can use.
• - MAWB Allocation: After consignment is booked, user allocates the MAWB to the consignment. System collects MAWB Number, MAWB Document, Airline, flight and origin/destination time zone. User can also add max 3 lags flight information.
